Ms. Bille has over 30 years of experience in litigation and transactional law including with the large national law firms of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker; Milgrim Thomajan Lee; and Sidley & Austin.
Ms. Bille was first affiliated with Luna & Glushon in 2009 and became Of Counsel with the firm in 2022.
Experience
As a litigator, Ms. Bille defended film studios and music companies in high-profile copyright infringement actions. She also handled breach of contract cases and other matters for real estate developers, commercial and residential builders, and media entities from inception to resolution. Her transactional matters include preparing software licensing agreements for Sony and Microsoft. She has prepared and negotiated construction management agreements, partnership agreements, operating agreements, commercial and residential acquisitions and lease agreements, IP licenses and collaboration agreements, represented investors in lost development easements in historical properties and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Education
Ms. Bille obtained her law degree from the University of Southern California, her Masters of Arts from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Southern California, and her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communications from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Leadership , Membership & Honors
Ms. Bille has served as the Co-Chair of the Riviera Homeowners Association in Pacific Palisades, a Board member of a fundraising organization for the Doheny Eye Institute, a volunteer teacher with the national organization Junior Achievement, a member of Lawyers for the Arts and a volunteer with Ready to Succeed, an organization that supports foster and first-generation college students in completing college and launching their careers.
Ms. Bille is a member of the California State Bar, the United States District Court, Central District of California, the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
